The Date which Most Closely Resembles Corduroy looms near! It’s 10 days from today! Are you ready? We’re not, exactly, but tremendous preparations are underway for celebration of this most important day for members of The Corduroy Appreciation Club and Corduroy lovers the world over. A Grand Meeting will occur in Brooklyn, NY. Details accumulating and an official communiqué is forthcoming. HAIL THE WALE!

Keynote Speaker Selected
Our keynote speaker for the 11|11 meeting has been selected, confirmed and shall be revealed here and now: We are completely delighted and thrilled to announce that Lord Breaulove Swells Whimsy will address our 11|11 assemblage. There is much to know and learn about Lord Whimsy and most of it can be found on his beautiful website. In a nutshell, however, Lord Whimsy is a self-professed modern-day dandy, the author of a truly marvelous and beautiful book, The Affected Provincial’s Companion, Vol. I, (the film rights of which were recently purchased by Johnny Depp’s production company) and perhaps most importantly, a Corduroy Appreciator. He is the perfect person to address us this year. We simply cannot wait to hear the Corduroy thoughts of such a sophisticated, well-dressed and clearly brilliant fellow. Surely he will further rebuke the incessant claims that Corduroy is merely a casual fabric, but worthy of even the most well-dressed.
